Materials & Quality
What is 18K gold filled jewelry?
Gold filled is not the same as gold plated. A thick layer of solid 18K gold is permanently bonded to a stainless steel core, giving you the look and feel of fine gold at a fraction of the price. Because the gold layer is substantially thicker than plating, it lasts far longer and resists wear from daily use.
Is DUGO jewelry really waterproof?
Yes. Our pieces are made to be worn every day — in the shower, at the beach, in the pool. You do not need to take them off before swimming or washing your hands.
Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. Our jewelry is non-tarnish and will not discolour your skin. The stainless steel core is also nickel-free, which makes it a good choice for sensitive skin.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Very little care is needed. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth if it looks dull. Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, bleach and harsh cleaning products, and store pieces separately so chains don't tangle or scratch each other.
Permanent Jewelry
What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a bracelet, anklet or necklace that is measured to fit you exactly and then welded closed — no clasp. It stays on through showers, workouts and holidays. We offer this service in store.
Does it hurt, and how long does it take?
Not at all. The weld is a tiny spark that never touches your skin, and most fittings take only a few minutes from choosing your chain to walking out wearing it.
What if I need to take it off?
You can remove it at any time with a small pair of scissors at the jump ring. Bring the chain back to us and we will re-weld it for you.
Orders & Shipping
How long until my order ships?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday. Engraved and made-to-order pieces need an additional 2–3 business days. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST begin processing the next business day.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on every order over $25, which covers almost everything we make. Standard delivery takes 5–7 business days. Faster carrier options may also be available to you at checkout — you will see the exact cost before you pay.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to start updating.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes, we ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses by Standard Shipping. Delivery to these addresses can take up to 14 business days.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
You can return anything within 30 days of delivery as long as it is unworn, unused and in its original packaging with tags attached. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving the item. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Is anything final sale?
Earrings and permanent (welded) jewelry cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons — unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
My order arrived damaged. What now?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and we will arrange a replacement or a refund at no cost to you.
Can I exchange for a different colour or style?
Yes. Mention it when you start your return and we will swap it where stock allows.
Visiting Us
Can I see the pieces in person?
Yes — you are welcome to visit our store, try things on and have permanent jewelry fitted. Our customer care team is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
